A non-traditional film production company that specializes in risk-taking and often experimental films. Here in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana we strive to embrace diversity in storytelling and to expand the understanding of the human experience. Short films, music videos, and documentaries, the sky is far from the limit here at Fair Creek Films.

This is Ty Higgs. The founder of Fair Creek films, he leads with an unparalleled passion. In the trenches, as Fair Creek’s director and cinematographer, he brings a surreal edge to all of our projects. With experience as a commercial editor, freelance Videographer, volunteer in the community, and a member of the @inartscomm On-Ramp Accelerator program. He is always striving to advance the craft of filmmaking, Ty stays creating. You can catch his work in any of our films.

This is Austin Owens. Filmmaking has been a part of Austin Owens' life since childhood, and continues to manifest itself well into his adult life with Fair Creek Films. Currently in attendance at Ivy Tech for a degree in mechanical engineering his keen eye for photography and bold vision for design has earned him his spot on the team. As the Art Director, co-writer, general handy-man, and film editor, he weaves an illusive atmosphere together for our audiences to disappear into. If there is a problem on-set he is the man to find an immediate solution.

This is Derrick Combs. He has proven to be a great asset to the Fair Creek Films crew over the last 6 years. With an endearing passion for photography he lends his talents by providing production/marketing photos. Over time his ability to shape and carve light as a Gaffer has been recognized and utilized on most of our productions. With an associate of science degree from the Art Institutes of Indianapolis, a heart of gold, and a journalistic approach; Derrick Combs of Derrick Combs Photography has created a style for himself and the team.
